Parabatix – the face off

30 September 2015

The Parabatix Sky Racers World Tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Coupe Icare in St Hilaire / Lumbin.
Since 2011, the Parabatix elite has been flying through the air, sky racing in one of the world’s most famous free flying locations. In 2012, France’s Thomas Migneaux was crowned champion with a heart-stopping performance against the legendary Mathieu Rouanet at the bottom of the mountain in Lumbin. Since then several Sky Racers have seen victory here including Spain’s Paco Guerra.
In 2015 Alex Mateos proved the impossible is possible with a historic French hat-trick. It was a close battle until the end with Spanish sky racing brothers Paco and Javi Guerra securing 2nd and 3rd position.
